Pedro Aledo was born in the region of Murcia - south eastern of Espana. Located in France for a long time, he has been dedicated from then to music and more recently to painting. Its artistic's road is expressed in different directories. Enthusiastic of the cultures of the world and specially by the musical culture of the mediterranean river coast, he constitutes programs of concerts and recording as much as solist with guitar, single with voice and guitar, trio, quintet and groups of up to 25 musicians with Flamenco, African, Eastern and Hip-hop dansers. His programs expresses itself in spanish, french, corsica, italian, grieck, turckish, catalan, arabic languages... Its own compositions, songs, works for guitar and other instruments, adjustments on traditional works, make Pedro Aledo a complete artist.
He prevails also as teacher about institutions like universities, colleges and primary school. His commitment for the human values leads him to take part in sociocultural centers, schools, to sensitize youngs on the Human Rights, learning thoses rights by singing. Pedro Aledo travels almost everywhere (Japon, Cuba, United States, New Caledonia, Europe...) and expresses his iberics roots within multiculturals expressions. His last travel to Hungria has opened new projects to him for music and painting exhibitions about the Zingaras communities. Aledo is the name of the village where Pedro was born and became his artistic name because of its cultural importance.
His discography is extensive : personal work for guitar "Aperiludes" ; "Coplas Sefardies" from Alberto Hemsi for voice and piano ; "D'île en île", "Tres curpos un alma", "Suerte", "Fusion méditerranée", "Cantos antiguos y cantos nuevos", "Sortilèges des musiques méditerranéennes", "Noël en méditerranée" - Big Price Charles Cros. Also with differents bands or in guest in concerts or recordings for Vents d'Est directed by Montanaro "Ballade pour une mer qui chante" on 2 CD, "Trois images du désert" with Senem Diyici and Alain Blesing and 2 CD of the Collection "Au fil de l'air" - Price Charles Cros 2005.
For his painting, Pedro Aledo has exposed for the last two years twice in the Biennal of Havana (Cuba), twice at Le Corbusier house in Marseille (France) and in the cultural center Nelson Mandela at Seyne S/Mer (France). Pie, acrylic, gluings takes part in his plastic's expression of today human faces in "Polyfaces" or "Témoins" exhibitions.
In 2006, Pedro Aledo continue his travels around the world, as Hungria, Cuba and many places in Europe for lives and exhibitions...
